LSAT Tutoring in Kuala Lumpur

Private one-on-one tutoring for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) can be the most effective and efficient means of preparing for the test. Kuala Lumpur students applying to law school in the United States can reach elite LSAT score levels with the individualized programs of instruction available from Manhattan Review. Our experienced, patient, and caring tutors develop unique learning plans for each student based on prior education, academic needs, learning style, chosen law school admissions criteria, and personal background. Thorough assessment of each client allows the creation of a personalized LSAT prep syllabus that takes full advantage of individual strengths, and provides all of the information necessary for implementation of a learning strategy that maximizes student potential. Manhattan Review's LSAT tutors are your best advocates for admission into law school.

At many law schools, the LSAT score is considered the most important component of an application. This is partially because the LSAT scores of admitted students are linked to law school rankings, but it is also due to the fact that the LSAT is seen as a more objective measure of prospective law student aptitude than undergraduate GPA (which can be skewed by variations in curricular rigor) or letters of recommendation (which can be affected by personal bias). How well a given student needs to do on the LSAT is heavily dependent on which law school he or she wishes to attend. The highest ranked institutions, such as Harvard, Stanford, the University of Virginia, and Georgetown, all have median LSAT scores of 167 or above, meaning that students accepted into these programs generally scored no lower than the 95th percentile of all test-takers. Many other law schools, such as the University of Baltimore, CUNY Queens College, or Howard University, will accept students in the 50th percentile, or a score of approximately 151. Manhattan Review's LSAT tutoring programs give Kuala Lumpur students the flexibility to orient their study around admission to a specific institution.

Manhattan Review's LSAT tutoring and prep services have helped thousands of students gain admission into their chosen law schools, including Notre Dame, George Washington University, Cornell, NYU, and Columbia. Our alumni have entered the legal profession in almost every area, from anti-trust and financial services regulation to private equity and public health. They've secured positions at widely respected law firms such as Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan; Covington & Burling; Manatt, Phelps & Phillips; and Davis, Polk & Wardwell. Manhattan Review's LSAT tutoring can help your dreams of a legal career become a reality.

Meet a Kuala Lumpur LSAT Tutor: Magda N.

Magda N. is a graduate of Indiana University and Arizona State University's O'Connor College of Law. A native of Warsaw, Poland, she has lived in cities around the world, with stops in New York, Rome, Prague, and Istanbul prior to her arrival in Kuala Lumpur. Magda specializes in preparing non-native English speakers for the LSAT, and has also worked as a TOEFL prep tutor. She was formerly a practicing attorney at a prominent U.S. law firm, but disliked the high-pressure environment and long hours. These days, Magda uses her legal training for freelance research purposes, and loves the flexibility and freedom that research and teaching allow.

Magda's well-travelled background appeals to her LSAT tutoring clients, who appreciate being taught by someone who has had the same experiences that they will be facing as law students in a foreign country. "Magda's tutoring did a world of good for my LSAT performance, but she also helped convince me that I could survive law school in the United States," remembered a former student who recently finished his JD at an Ivy League school. Magda's manageable work schedule gives her plenty of time for a variety of hobbies. She particularly enjoys Irish literature, gardening, and playing ping-pong.
