Submit your strongest possible business school application with Manhattan Review's GMAT prep courses and private tutoring.

Manhattan Review's private GMAT tutoring plans are carefully created to accommodate the needs and goals of each individual student. We consider GMAT strengths and weaknesses, test-taking issues such as time management or testing anxiety, preferred learning style, and academic goals, in order to teach every student using the specific techniques that produce the best results for him or her. We realize that every business school applicant is a unique individual who requires a unique approach to GMAT prep. GMAT practice tests are crucial to our assessment process, as these demonstrate which testing areas require the most improvement. Aggregate data from the Graduate Management Admission Council show that most prospective graduate business students need more work on their verbal skills than on their quantitative abilities (mean raw scores for the verbal and quantitative sections of the GMAT, which range from 0-60 before being converted to the total score, are 38.03 quantitative but just 27.04 verbal). However, this general pattern may or may not be true for a given student, and this is one of many reasons why personalized instruction is so important.

Business school applicants would be wise not to underestimate the importance of the GMAT. Although admissions deliberations are usually clouded in secrecy, a good deal of available evidence (including surveys of admissions consultants and "off-the-record" statements by admissions officers) suggests that the GMAT accounts for more than 20% of admissions decisions, which means that it is more significant than any other element of the application and is considered more than twice as heavily as undergraduate GPA. For students who can perform well on the GMAT and get accepted to business school, the post-graduation rewards are substantial. Manhattan Review's former GMAT clients have been hired by top American companies, including General Motors, CVS Health, Kroger, and JP Morgan Chase. Our students from years past also contribute to Ho Chi Minh City organizations, such as AmCham Vietnam, TMA Solutions, and JOY Entertainment. Get started on your future right away with Manhattan Review's GMAT prep services in Ho Chi Minh City.

Thanh N. is an American, of Vietnamese descent, who has been a GMAT tutor since 2013. His university studies took place entirely in his native region of Baltimore, Maryland, where he completed a bachelor's degree in e-business at Towson University and an MBA at Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School. In addition to his career as an educator, he is an independent businessman who works in various areas of e-commerce.

Thanh's students frequently praise his technological savvy, GMAT subject-matter knowledge, and effusive support for his students.
